Stock in Estonia for brands from abroad: import, VAT and a partner warehouse

Hold your goods in Estonia, close to your customers in the Baltics and the Nordics. Noda imports your stock and handles the VAT. A partner warehouse we choose with you stores, packs and ships your orders.

Short answer

To keep stock in the EU you need an importer, a VAT registration where the stock is, an EORI number, a customs declaration for each shipment and a warehouse. Noda covers the first four. The warehouse is a partner: you see its price, sign with it and pay it directly.

Do you need this?

Yes, if

  • €3 and €2 per item type now cost more than shipping in bulk.
  • Your customers are in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark or the Baltics.
  • Returns travel back across the world.

No, if

  • Most of your customers are in Germany or France: a warehouse there is closer.
  • You send a few dozen orders a month: parcels may still cost less.

EU company?

You need no importer and no representative. The warehouse and the Estonian VAT registration work the same way.

We find the storage that fits your goods, not the other way round.

Relationships across the region

We keep in touch with warehouse owners and commercial property developers in the Baltics, the Nordics and the EU. We rent and own some commercial property in Estonia and the Baltics ourselves.

Favourable market terms

We negotiate the terms with the warehouse. You see its price before you sign, and pay it directly.

What it costs

Two parts, both in writing before you decide. No minimum term: you can leave with 30 days' notice.

The warehouse

Storage, picking, packing and shipping, at the warehouse's own price. It depends on your volumes, item sizes and countries. You see it before you sign, and you pay the warehouse directly.

Our work

Import: from €200 to set up and from €50 per shipment. VAT representative: from €99 a month. Exact amounts in your proposal. Insurance for your stock and goods in transit through a partner insurer, on request.

When it pays off

From hundreds of orders a month, or when €3 + €2 per item type cost more than one bulk shipment. See the example →

What we don't do

  • We don't hold your goods under our name. The warehouse contract is yours, and the stock stays yours.
  • We don't store consumer products without an EU responsible person. If you have none, Noda can take the role.
  • We don't promise delivery times the carrier hasn't confirmed.
  • We don't store goods bound for Russia or Belarus. Sanctions policy

Common questions

Do I need a VAT number where my stock is?

Yes. Stock in Estonia means an Estonian VAT number. A company from outside the EU registers through a VAT representative, and Noda takes that role.

Does stock in the EU avoid the €3 and €2 per item type?

Yes, when the goods are imported in bulk and sold to consumers after import. Goods already sold before import still count as parcels. See EU parcel rules 2026.

How fast can you ship to Finland, Sweden and Norway?

See the delivery table above: business days from dispatch, with the warehouse's carriers.

Can I keep stock in Finland or Norway instead?

Yes, but a warehouse there means a VAT registration there. Norway is outside the EU, with its own customs. See Nordics and Baltics.

Who runs the warehouse?

A partner warehouse in Estonia, chosen with you; its name and terms are in your proposal. You sign with it and pay it directly. We stay your one contact.

What happens to returns?

They come back to the same warehouse, are inspected and restocked, repacked or disposed of. See Returns.
